Meet the team
The LFBF is led by CEO Shelley Doorey-Williams. Shelley has over 30 years’ experience in business management and corporate governance. Her financial services career includes senior roles at UBS Wealth Management, Sionic (now Davies Consulting) and KPMG.
Shelley is supported by a senior leadership team, comprising
- Sarah Dryden, Director of Research. Sarah has a decade of experience in financial services, advising asset managers on their ESG approaches, as well as wider strategic agendas.
- Dr George Hoare, Interim Director of Research. George is covering Sarah’s maternity leave (2026) and has over a decade of experience in research, evaluation, strategy, and impact across the charity sector.
- Rebecca Mintrim, Director of Communications. Rebecca is an expert in strategic communications who has worked across charity and public sector organisations in the UK and Australia.
- Sue Primmer. Sue is a strategic communications professional with senior experience across both private and public sectors. Sue is succeeded by Rebecca Mintrim (above) and is continuing to support the LFBF until the end of June 2026.
- Anna Stevens, Director of People and Governance. Anna is an HR professional with extensive experience in the public and not-for-profit sectors.
- Harry Weber-Brown, Director of Partnerships. Harry has worked across a range of sectors and clients in financial services, public sector and not for profit organisations and also leads our think tank, the Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation (CSFI).
