LFBF CEO, Shelley Doorey-Williams said:
“We are thrilled to welcome Rebecca to LFBF. Her wide breadth of communications expertise, strategic insight and passion for leading purpose-driven projects will be invaluable as we shine a spotlight on our financial research and continue to grow our impact. Rebecca joins us at an exciting time for the Foundation, as we expand our work promoting financial capability, education and inclusion across the UK. We are very much looking forward to working with her.”
Rebecca Mintrim said:

“What drew me so strongly to the London Foundation for Banking & Finance is its clear purpose and commitment to supporting people to build their financial understanding in an increasingly complex and changing world. Financial education is about far more than managing money effectively, it is a route to tackling deprivation, widening opportunity and reducing inequalities. I’m delighted to be joining the organisation at such a pivotal moment and look forward to contributing to its mission.”
Recognising Sue Primmer’s outstanding contribution
Rebecca succeeds Sue Primmer, who will pursue non-executive and consulting roles. Sue strengthened the Foundation’s profile and voice, helped to build awareness of the research from the Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation think tank, educational initiatives and charitable mission. Sue was one of the 100 women awarded the Freedom of the City of London to mark a centenary of women’s suffrage. She is widely respected across the financial industry for her strategic counsel, creativity and collaborative leadership.
LFBF CEO, Shelley Doorey-Williams said:
“I would like to thank Sue for her steadfast commitment, energy and professionalism, and for the lasting contribution she has made to our mission of accelerating financial capability across the UK. Everyone at LFBF extends their sincere thanks to Sue for her outstanding contribution and wishes both Sue and Rebecca every success.”

Sue Primmer said:
“It has been a privilege to work with such dedicated colleagues and partners at LFBF and to support an organisation whose mission is so important. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to seeing the Foundation continue to flourish in the years ahead.”
Sue will continue to support the organisation until the end of June 2026, working on the Foundation’s forthcoming gala dinner and finalising a number of key projects.
